“This was a one night stopover while performing nearby. This is one of the new style Mercure properties similar to Brisbane Garden City and Newcastle Central. The features of these properties are self check in,(with assistance nearby if needed), easy style restaurant, reception with sandwiches cakes and drinks, self check out. The self checkout is great as you can view any room charges on a large screen at your own pace, hit the accept button and swipe your credit card. We were joined by family for dinner in the restaurant and we had a ball. The food was simple, good value, and fun. They have self serve beer on tap where you swipe your room key. The room was spacious and our Accor loyalty was certainly recognised with an abundance of gifts in our room. It was impressive. So much so that we invited our friends to our room before dinner to share in the wine chocolates and cheese platter. I did not expect a WOW! Experience but it was delivered. It will be one of the hotel experiences we talk about for quite a while.”

“Overall, my experience was excellent. The room was comfortable, the location is very convenient, and the staff were always flexible and accommodating with any special requests. What truly made my stay outstanding, though, was the reception team. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful at all times, which made me feel genuinely cared for. A special thanks to Jermie at reception for going above and beyond to make my stay such a great experience. I would definitely stay here again”

“I stayed here and i must say the room and bathroom were very clean. And most importantly the staff were absolutely amazing!! Smiles on their faces willing to help however they could. Very accommodating. Jermie and Hao were so kind and helpful, and so were all the other staff members. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“This is a very good Mercure hotel. The staff are always lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the food is pretty good. The breakfast buffet is the best of any Mercure at which I've stayed. Their inclusion of rice and condiments, especially kimchi is really welcome. The hotel is convenient to the Macquarie University Hospital and Clinic.”

“where to start with the Mercure Macquarie Park? not only is it ideally located for the university, hospital and lovely nearby bushwalks - this hotel could be out in the middle of nowhere and me and my partner would still stay based on the customer service alone. From the charming Tom who never forgets a face and offers thoughtful local suggestions with a smile (there’s not a question he isn’t prepared for), to the effortlessly cool Chris who prepares a delightful breakfast served with great tunes and even better banter, to the lovely Dima the who manages the front desk over night who toasts a cracking schnitty sanga whilst he asks about your day and importantly he got the sauce to ice cream ratio just perfect on our late night soft serve (a must try). a delightful stay, we will be back x”

“Service was second to none from the moment we walked in the door. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We were a bit more of a complex group and we were made to feel like nothing was an issue at all. Thank you to the staff that were working at about 330 in the afternoon on saturday 28 February, you were amazing.”

“Everything is top notch. But found it hard to sleep one of the nights due to noise. Walls and floors let a lot of sound through. One night I could hear neighbor on the left watching a movie, neighbor above walking, people in the corridors walking and talking (despite doing so reasonably), and people outside the hotel having a casual conversation at normal volume. Guests opening and shutting doors startled me out of sleep a couple of times. My only complaint though. Staff are awesome and so is the place otherwise.”
